River Otters are well etsablished on the west coast of Scotland. Although they have adapted to a life in sea water, they will never be far from a freshwater source to clean the salt from their coats. This was my local Otter near my home in Scotland, which had just finished preening itself, and I captured the moment of it shaking the water from itself (before going to get wet again!).
